HOME-DELIVERED MEAL PROGRAMS
New Homebound Applications Paused as of
7/15/25
Due to recent budget cuts, we regret to inform you all that our homebound meal service waiting list is temporarily closed, as of Tuesday, 7/15/25.

We are actively working on establishing a referral process for clients who need the service, but we are currently unable to accept new applications for the service until our new budget is finalized.
​
We apologise for the inconvenience and hope that you understand. Our commitment to serving the needs of San Fernando Valley's seniors is unwavering, and we will do everything in our power to resolve this
as soon as possible.
If you or a loved one can’t shop and cook meals, you may want to have meals delivered to the home. VIC operates a Home-Delivered Meal Program that provides meals to people 60 and over who are unable to prepare their own meals, travel to a meal site, or do not receive home meal support. Contact the Home-Delivered Meal Coordinator at the Center closest to you to make arrangements and discuss eligibility. This is a suggested donation program.

Meals are provided five days a week Monday - Friday.

All Meals are Diabetic and Hypertension Friendly.

The meals are prepared by a professional caterer complying with conventional nutrition standards through the Los Angeles Department of Aging. The drivers deliver the meals within a designated time frame to preserve the integrity of the meal. ​​
