Meet the wonderful directors who keep VIC running.

Stephanie Galloway

Stephanie

Stephanie Galloway holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and has dedicated her career to serving vulnerable communities with compassion, integrity, and purpose. As President and CEO of Valley InterCommunity Council (VIC), Stephanie brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and strategic growth, with a strong focus on equity, dignity, and access for older adults.

Stephanie has successfully led initiatives that enhance food security, expand homebound services, and deepen partnerships with government and community agencies. Her work reflects a deep commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and creating systems of care that leave no one behind.

“My role at VIC is more than just a job—it’s a mission. Every day I’m driven by the opportunity to honor and protect the voices and needs of our aging population. To feed, to connect—this is the heart of our work, and it’s my privilege to lead it.”

Leticia

Leticia Perez

My name is Leticia Perez, and I am honored to serve as the new director of VIC's

Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center. I have been a part of this organization for over six

years, beginning my journey as a Homebound driver.

Eventually, I took on the role of Information and Assistance Coordinator at the Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center. I am truly appreciative of the opportunities for growth that this organization has provided me. Before my time at the center, I served in the Army, where I sustained a shoulder injury during training.

Fortunately, I discovered VIC's Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center, which allowed me

to channel my commitment to serving my country into a dedication to my community.

My time spent here with all of you has been immensely rewarding.

I look forward to building upon the work we have accomplished over the past six years.

My aspiration for the center is to further develop Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center as

a vital community hub, offering resources and programs that foster growth and

development within our community.

Garnik

Garnik Ghazaryan

Garnik Ghazaryan is proud to serve as Director of Nutrition at Valley InterCommunity Council, where he leads a dedicated team committed to providing nutritious meals to seniors across the San Fernando Valley.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science and brings over a decade of experience in nutrition and food service management. Garnik’s expertise spans clinical nutrition, large-scale meal planning, and operational leadership, making him a vital force in ensuring both the quality and accessibility of VIC’s nutrition programs.

A passionate advocate for community health, Garnik combines scientific knowledge with heart-centered service. His work is grounded in the belief that proper nutrition is essential to dignity and well-being at every stage of life.

“It’s an honor to give back to the community I call home. Through this work, I get to ensure that our seniors are nourished—not just with meals, but with care and respect."

Steven Gincig

Steve’s most beloved role in life is being a Dad to his two amazing kids, Morgan and Megan.

He holds his Masters Degree in Counseling and Social Psychology and Teaching Credential from the State of California.  He is Vice-President of the School Site Council at LAUSD Virtual Academy and a vocal strong proponent of anti-bullying and anti-racial, age, religious and sexual/gender discrimination campaigns.

Steve has had extraordinary results in the hospitality and nonprofit sectors and is highly accomplished in all aspects of Grants, Events and Community Engagement.   He has successfully assisted 200+ nonprofits over the past 20 years.

‘My position at VIC is highly rewarding to me on a daily basis. Knowing that I am a key part of bringing hope…of bringing sustenance and support…and being a voice for our beloved Senior population so they are cared for, listened to and uplifted, motivates me seven days a week”.

Robert Winn

Bobby

This phrase has echoed through generations as a foundational ideal of unity and shared purpose. It represents not just a motto, but a vision for a society where diversity is embraced and harnessed for collective strength. In its Latin simplicity, it carries deep complexity: acknowledging individuality while affirming community. Rooted in the founding of the United States, “E pluribus unum” reminds us that our identities—geographic, cultural, personal—do not divide us but enrich the whole. It is a call to cooperation in times of discord, and a reminder that through empathy, mutual respect, and shared commitment, we can forge common ground. In an era where division often dominates the headlines, the enduring power of these three words remains a guiding principle. Whether applied to a nation, a neighborhood, or a nonprofit mission, “E pluribus unum” continues to challenge us: to listen, to include, and to build something greater than ourselves—together.
