What luck! Falling into a group of like-minded people: similar sense of humor, having survived life's losses and lessons, and even sharing political leanings (but, not to be discussed).

Maybe, any group I joined could have had the same results, that feeling of comradery, whether it was jewelry making, art, exercise, bingo, current events... so much to choose from!

But the creative writing group struck my fancy. Such a warm friendly atmosphere of compatible and caring individuals. Making new friends, best friends, and friendly group mates was easy.

The center, with its various groups and classes, does offer a safe and stimulating environment to relax, refresh, renew, and expand horizons with new knowledge and exchange of ideas.

The lunches and field trips are an added incentive to socialize (or not), making attending all activities another plus. Being in a positive space can only put a spring in one's step and engender a spark of spirit and fun.
