Transportation for Seniors The
senior center based paratransit program is a personalized door-to-door
transportation service offering a shared ride for the elderly 65 years of
age or older and disabled who are unable to access other modes of
transportation.
This is a demand responsive transportation service which is sensitive to the needs and limitations of the elderly and disabled. The program is an enhancement of the current City-ride service. Providing safe and reliable transportation services for seniors is crucial to helping seniors maintain their independence.
