The Alicia Broadous-Duncan MultiPurpose Senior Center is a unique and outstanding site for the senior population of the Northeast San Fernando Valley to obtain social services, information, recreation, hot lunch, and fellowship. The participating population is culturally diverse and interactive, including Hispanic, African-American, Filipino and Caucasian.
The interior of the building is very spacious, beautiful and inviting. The building sets within a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, fenced-in lot, with plenty of parking. In the rear of the building is an attractive patio with shaded seating for outside exercising and/or meditating. In addition to traditional programming of exercises, dancing, singing and arts and crafts, this Center offers a computer lab with free instructions.
The goal of staff and volunteers is to ensure that our seniors are enjoying the best years of their lives. Staff prides itself on a beautiful center as well as a wonderful, loving staff.
