The Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), a 44-year old interfaith agency and social service organization, welcomes Sandra J. Bishop as its new President after a five-month search, effective immediately.

Bishop is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of extensive experience in the non-profit sector that includes serving as President of FOOD Share, Inc., Senior Concerns Inc., and the United Cerebral Palsy Association in Modesto, California. Her education includes a master’s degree in public administration.

“Sandra Bishop’s leadership, strategic vision and background of working with seniors, diverse populations and cultures, and serving the poor through social services, was the match we were seeking to take the organization to a new level in the years ahead,” said Marsha Novak, VIC Board Chair.
