Nutrition Program for Seniors
 

Since 1974, the congregate meals program has provided a nutritionally balanced hot lunch and lunchtime companionship and activities to senior citizens age 60 and over for a suggested donation.  Regular meals and Kosher meals are available.  Each year over 200,000 meals are provided at 11 East Valley sites to over 2,000 senior citizens.  The program is partially funded by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Aging, and the County of Los Angeles Community and Senior Citizens Services.  The balance of funding is generated by fees and donations.
