Plan Your Gifts for Greatest ImpactEach year thousands of individuals make gifts to charitable organizations and institutions of their choice. You can remember us in your will through a simple bequest or through planned giving. Ask your attorney to include wording such as this example in your will: “I hereby give to the Valley Interfaith Council/_____ Center, a nonprofit organization located in ___________, CA, USA, the sum of____________________ (US$ ______________ ) to be used in continuing its humanitarian endeavors.” The Legacy Society – A Planned Giving Donor Recognition Group VIC is proud to announce its new donor recognition program for those who have left the agency a gift in their will/trust: the Legacy Society. The Legacy Society is a group of caring friends who want to strengthen the community into the future. Cambria Smith, VIC's President, said “VIC has, since its inception, been at the center of communal life. With our senior population projected to double over the next 25-30 years, VIC must be prepared to respond to this enormous demographic shift and growing need. As today’s future challenges become tomorrow’s realities, VIC's ability to respond effectively will require a strong financial base built by donors of vision and generosity." The Legacy Society has been established to recognize and honor those generous and thoughtful donors whose vision extends beyond today’s horizon. They have included VIC in their estate plans, a gift that will help VIC meet and embrace the full range of challenges and opportunities that will arise in the future.
