Welcome Message We are pleased you have chosen to experience VIC through this wonderful world of the internet. VIC, established in 1964 is the only interfaith social service agency in the San Fernando Valley whose mission is to: Unite people of conscience in interfaith action to build bridges of understanding, service and justice. This webpage will introduce you to all the social services, interfaith activities and social justice advocacy programs which are the product of an outstanding professional staff along with a cadre of caring and dedicated volunteers. THE VIC STAFF, OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS, ALONG WITH THE VALLEY INTERFAITH FOUNDATION, INVITE YOU TO JOIN VIC. IT WILL BE YOUR BRIDGE TO HELP OR TO HELPING OTHERS. TOGETHER WE WILL SEEK TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OUR VALLEY RESIDENTS, SENIORS AND ALL IN NEED OF OUR SERVICES: NUTRITION PROGRAMS, ADULT DAY CARE AND SENIOR SOCIAL PROGRAMMING ALONG WITH SENIOR AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES. Our interfaith outreach brings together clergy and community from all faith traditions to come to know each other, learn from one another and work together to promote respect, understanding and peace. Our social justice advocacy strives to address those issues which affect our communities: hunger, poverty, healthcare and affordable housing.
