The Governing Board has the oversight and fiduciary responsibility for the nonprofit organization according to the Secretary of State and Attorney General’s office of the State of California. The Board are volunteers recruited to represent the communities that VIC serves, to reflect the diversity of populations, the geographic service areas, and the leadership needs of the organization.
The Governing Board (Board of Directors) meet monthly with the exception of the December/ Holiday Season and at times in August. The Governing Board’s Cabinet (executive committee) meets monthly.
